100 day dress challenge

I HAD SO MUCH FUN LAST YEAR… I AM DOING IT AGAIN, STARTING ON 1/1/2022!  SAME CHALLENGE, DIFFERENT DRESS…. AND I WILL BUY MY OWN REWARD DRESS.

This year, I picked the willow – a 3/4 sleeve merino wool swing dress from Wool& in Ochre.  Love the color and I love the fit.

FOLLOW ME ON MY 100 DAY DRESS CHALLENGE!!

I have been invited to do a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool&  and am super excited about all the benefits of this challenge.

I hope to:

  • Spend less time and money doing laundry  – who doesn’t love that!

  • Simplify my morning routine, making “what to wear” the easiest question of the day

  •  Get more wears out of my dress –100 days worth, just to start!

  • Recognize what I need and don’t need in my closet — great because I am limited on space!

  • Cut down on shopping — only getting things that “go” with the dress ( but first I will “shop” my closet — and donate what isn’t in line with my new wardrobe goals.

  • Spend the money and time that I would normally spend on clothes in more meaningful activities.

  • Connect with others through the private Facebook Group — as we explore the possibilities of this challenge

  • Reduce my impact and carbon footprint on the planet as I learn to let go of my grip on consumerism.

  • And. If I complete this challenge, the great folks at Wool& will gift me $100 toward my new wool& dress. How cool is that!!

As part of the challenge, I will be posting my daily outfits on blog posts as well as social media with the hashtag #tracywearswool — please follow along — and see all the creative outfits that I can come up with.

This is what my 2021 dress looked like. Totally stood up to 100 days of daily wear, and still in pristine shape. ** Although I did dye her midnight blue about 3/4 of the way through the original challenge

I chose the ROWENA style, because I felt it had the most versatility… and I started this challenge on January 20th, 2021 in the Pacific Northwest.  But there are a lot of other great styles.
