Day 7, 8, 9
I know that Day 7, 8, 9 isn’t technically correct, but it works better for the google search engine. It is the way of the web, formulas that we use to try to get our blog posts seen by more people. I just didn’t want anyone pulling out their copy of Strunk and White’s Elements of Style and calling me out.
This weekend was crazy fast, between the broken plumbing, freezing weather, and people calling in sick for my part-time job.
So I compiled my “best of” for photos through the weekend, in homes to get back on track with my 100 day daily blogging goal.
My other 100 day goals are going along nicely… 100 day dress challenge 2.0, 100 days of art, 100 days of Keto, 100 days of daily knitting 100 days of giving away 1 thing per day, and 100 days of buying nothing but essentials. I have been so with all the other goals… I have gotten behind on blogging… at the end of the day, I am pooped. In addition, I started duolingo for Spanish on 1/2… and have done that daily — and it is something I plan on doing the rest of the 100 day challenge… and then an extra day.
For those of you new to this blog …I am involved in a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool& — Same dress. 100 days. Details are on tracywearswool.com. I am also taking the same 100 days to make some additional positive changes to develop daily habits in writing, art, knitting and eating better. I will also be not buying anything but essentials, and giving away an item for each of the 100 days.
JANUARY 7, 8, 9, 2022 – DAY 7, 8, 9
Me, in my wool Pea Coat, over a sweater, and my willow dress. Nice and warm with leggings and my sturdy boots.
I am making progress on the yoke section of my Alberta Summer sweater. after that, it should go quickly!
Who am I kidding… it is a raglan sweater made with fingering weight, gorgeous, but splitty, Noro yarn…. it is going to take me quite a few hours….
I see more netflix in my future – like the rest of Call the Midwife!
so much depends upon a turquoise wheel barrow glazed with rain water beside the tin chicken
Don’t you think???
And my sincerest apologies to WCW for my unforgivable actions. I couldn’t help myself.
The begonia is still in the window in the kitchen. She just can’t go out on the porch until spring. And the little jade plant is just to small to survive. When fear of frost is over, they will go back out.
And the tree is still up….
I did get a little straightening in, and went through my drawers to find things to give away.
This is the long sleeve shirt drawer, there is another with short sleeve. Hopefully, I will be able to donate enough to just have 1 drawer.
Give away’s this weekend were three long sleeve shirts. I actually like them all…. and wear them all. But this is the time of year that people can use more warm clothes. So I will be finding a good source to donate — something community based.
Thanks for joining me on day 7, 8, 9 of my #tracywearswool & new habits journey.
Stay tuned for the next 91 days!
