Day 95 of #tracywearswool, and I’m staying alive!!
It is quite interesting… I seem to be having more fun — more of a life — than in any other part of my life. I guess I was too busy having babies, raising them up, being married, and working hard to get ahead, that I lost track of having fun. Sure, when the kids were little, and i was a stay at home mom… we had tons of fun.
But now, it is different. I h ave only myself to answer to… and I get to pick who I want to be. Artist, entrepreneur, activist, compassionate communicator, musician, gardener, knitter, dancer — these are things that I can choose. And theses aren’t the only ones. I am sure there are things that I want to become that I haven’t even thought of… yet.
It’s all about staying alive.
For those of you new to this blog …I am involved in a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool& — Same dress. 100 days. (And yes, you can wash it!) Part of my reasons for deciding to do this was to simplify my life, especially with my lifestyle.
What’s in store today:
A bit of a rainy day at the coast. Tomorrow I will be heading back to Portland to check on the garden boxes. The garden up here is coming along, sunflowers growing taller everyday, and nasturtiums poping up everywhere. And the deer haven’t found the primroses!
I love this shirt… super soft. and paired with my Gap jacket and Gap belt.
Makes for an outfit that looks like I took some time to ut together.
(Sometimes I worry that I look like I just rolled out of bed!)
It’s cold and rainy today. I am just glad that I didn’t pack my jacket away for the summer. It matches the suhirty pretty well. Love the warm caramel color. Belt is from the GAP. I have had it for years, but m pretty sure they still sell it.
I just want to take a moment and thatnk the folks from Wool& for putting this challenge together. And also, thank you for bringing us such thoughtfully made, and fabulously styled clothing. It has been a pleasure!
Classic leather belt from the Gap.
Favorite boots by Frye, that I use for Appalachian Flatfooting and Clogging!
And I clean them both with THIS SADDLE SOAP.
Thanks for joining me on day 95 of #tracywearswool.
Stay tuned for the next 5 days!
Be well, and get out there and enjoy yourself.
–Tracy
