tracywearswool day 67 out of 100 — what a great day it is to be outside.
I just love the spring. It is not quite warm enough to be out in short sleeves yet, but warm enough to plant seeds. And not quite warm enough to go barefoot but warm enough to hike down to the beach. Of course, here, it is warm enough to hike to the beach anytime… the sun just makes it a whole lot nicer! And nice enough to want to take the dogs out for a walk, and wave to other people who are out walking, too. The world warms up, and people warm up.
For those of you new to this blog …I am involved in a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool& — Same dress. 100 days. (And yes, you can wash it!) Part of my reasons for deciding to do this was to simplify my life, especially with my lifestyle.
What’s in store today:
My last lesson through the Appalachain Flatfooting and Clogging Academy was today. We will have a graduation party next weekend, and before that, I will be posting videos of what I have learned this week. All in all, it has been a wonderful experience that I hope to continue on. And, I have met some really great people that I would love to stay connected to. Heck, I’d like to put Kentucky on my travel plan once the lockdown is all over… and the world opens up again.
I love this LL Bean Shirt. I had one years ago, a bigger, sloppier size, that I somehow lost. Years later, I ran across it again, much smaller. Just not able to wear it.
Vest is another thrift store find. Love it… lots of pockets.
Probably not the most flattering photo of me… but I am learning not to care. It is what it is. Sometimes you just have to let it all hang out!! THis challenge is helping me come to terms with that! Lose the “perfection” myth.
All my old photos of myself used to look stiffed and posed… mostly because they were. I think just doing impromptu shots helps convey the fun that I am having — and I am having a lot of fun with this challenge!
Crocs and naked-y ankles.
I used to be embarrassed to show my white calves, or my fat thighs, or my old lady arms. But isn’t that a bit silly. I mean… we all have them. So, let’s keep it real. So much nicer.
Thanks for joining me on day 67 of tracywearswool.
Stay tuned for the next 33 days!
.
Be well, and watch that wind!
–Tracy
