tracywearswool day 66 out of 100 — and this challenge has definitely been a KICK!
It is so much more than just wearing the same dress over and over for 100 days. For me, the dress — an iron-gray swing style — becomes the background for a whole range of creative ideas and styles. Some of them I never thought I would be comfortable with. But this challenge allows you to go out of your comfort zone… if you will let it.
At 66 days, I am 2/3 of the way down the road. And I have used up most of my creative ideas for outfits. Time to get creative. I have the support of hundreds of other people doing the challenge. We share ideas, feelings… and even clothes, sometimes. It is nice not to be doing it all alone. And a part of my morning routine is to check-in and see how the others are doing. It might just be on Facebook, but the expressions of warmth, caring, and friendship are genuine. are most certainly genuine.
For those of you new to this blog …I am involved in a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool& — Same dress. 100 days. (And yes, you can wash it!) Part of my reasons for deciding to do this was to simplify my life, especially with my lifestyle.
What’s in store today:
I finished my sweater… so I’ll post a photo below — you are the first to see. I will probably be wearing it soon as part of my outfit of the day. And I should be writing up a pattern soon… You can see more about my 12 SWEATERS IN 2021 personal challenge…. HERE!
You can use my COUPON code: TRACY15 to save 15% at check out.
Well, I can honestly say that the T-shirt I have been wearing appears to be jammies. I guess I never took a photo of the label before! Anyway… super comfy. Goes well with the JJILL cropped jacket. Both are from thrift stores.
For some reason all of my full body photos came out fuzzy. I am not sure if the lens was dirty, or what. But I didn’t want to let it prevent me from posting. Because, for me, that is part of my own challenge — posting every day for 100 days.
And, yes, I tied my t-shirt up again. My daughter called and told me that “the 90s were calling and they wanted their shirt back”…. but I think I will just ignore her…
These are handknit wool socks… I just love them. Eventually, I will get around to writing a pattern for them… If I can find my notes!
Shoes are keens. And I have a fondness for little sterling pins. Love these dancing girls.
Thanks for joining me on day 66 of tracywearswool.
Stay tuned for the next 34 days!
.
Be well, and make some music… or dance a little — or knit a sweater!
–Tracy
