tracywearswool day 64 out of 100 — breath of spring.
I am thinking about now I could use a little breath of spring. Really, Living in the Pacific Northwest, the rainy season can just seem to drag on and on.
But look at the bright side… You don’t have to water. And you don’t need to mow the lawn if there is no sunshine peeking through. And you can wear rain boots pretty much all year if you want. And it keeps a lot of tourists away…and relatives who DO visit… don’t stay long. So, there’s always that.
In anticipation of an epically long growing season this year, we are continuing on with the epic garden re-do. Out with the grass, and in with the giant planter boxes and walkways. I can’t wait!! Progress so far…
For those of you new to this blog …I am involved in a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool& — Same dress. 100 days. (And yes, you can wash it!) Part of my reasons for deciding to do this was to simplify my life, especially with my lifestyle.
What’s in store today:
Rain and more rain in Portland. And I did s little something to my low back yesterday…. either dancing too long, or sitting too long…. or maybe both. So I have to lay off dancing, for today, at least. After a brief trip to the market, and a lovely nap in the afternoon, I pretty much hung around the house, knitting, podcasts, and catching up with friends on the phone.

I love this skirt. And I think I will be definitely wearing more of it as the weather gets warmer. One of the best things is that they are completely reversible.
So with just one skirt, you can get a couple of completely different looks, depending on how you style it. There is a great FB group for inspiration!
And it is a fabulous company, as well. Woman-Owned. Thoughtfully sourced, and human and earth friendly.
AND… they are made from recycled sari silk.

Thanks for joining me on day 64 of tracywearswool.
Stay tuned for the next 36 days!
.
Be well, and make some music… or dance a little!
