Crazy was the name of the game today. Nuts, Cray-Cray, Wacky, Insane.
The weather was crazy wild. Lots of wind, and stinging rain. So… no one wanted to go outside much. Expecially me. Well, I am the only person here. But the dogs didn’t want to go out either…. which made me… and them a little crazy.
For those of you new to this blog …I am involved in a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool& — Same dress. 100 days. (And yes, you can wash it!) Part of my reasons for deciding to do this was to simplify my life, especially with my lifestyle.
But I got up and dressed up anyway. Because that is what I committed to doing. And it is only day 18….
What’s in store today:
Actually, I was pretty busy, all considered. I had my first lesson for Appalachian Flatfooting and Clogging, and learned a little dance combination. Then I filmed my feet doing it, and made a blog page — you can see it HERE.
Then I spent pretty much the rest of the day pulling my hair out, trying to figure out why some photos on my blog were loading and some were not…
Problem solved. At this rate, I should look into a wig.
Here’s what I came up with for today!
I threw an oversized JJill Chambray shirt over Woolamina. I like the mandarin collar, and monkey fist knotted buttons. And the length hides all manner of sins.Bracelet was from a trip to Mexico a few years back.
Little embroidered bandolier bag was from Amazon. I think I got it for Old Spanish Days in Santa Barbara. Under $13 — holds a lot more than it looks. Click HERE for more.
Me… getting photobombed by the dogs… oh well. I need to do some posts with knitting projects!
(Have you seen my knitting page.??)
Virgin of Guadalupe pendant. I may have gotten that at the Grotto in Portland. Amazing grounds and sanctuary. ANd the gift shop is great.
The Dude is officially back from Helping #1. His job is done there, and I was missing having him at the beach. I am not so sure he was missing Rainey too much… although Rainey and I were in Portland everyweek.
WHEW!
The Dude is just a cranky old man dog… always has been. And Rainey likes to play… all the time, running around all cray-cray, pulling the pillows and blankets off everything, and crewing on Dude’s feet.
