You’ll forget the sun in his jealous sky, when we walk the fields of gold. Sting said it all, on this amazing song.
Tomorrow, I’ll cross my own field of gold and I head down to take a look at the ever-changing coastline that is my beach.
Pretty amazing.
For those of you new to this blog …I am involved in a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool& — Same dress. 100 days. (And yes, you can wash it!) Part of my reasons for deciding to do this was to simplify my life, especially with my lifestyle.
What’s in store this week:
I’m back at the beach… Long Beach Washington, that is. Today, I had a rhythm class and a vocal class online. Both are put on by the city college, as part of an older adult series. And it is a nice safe environment to try things out. Get creative.
Still need to lace up my shoes and practice my Appalachian Flatfooting and Clogging class.. but it’ll have to wait until tomorrow. Just to tuckered out with the drive and all I did go ahead and order the Frye oxfords… can’t wait until they arrive! Think they will go with the Dress??? ( OF COURSE THEY WILL!!)
Here’s what I came up with for today!
The Details:
Woolamina with The Love Note Sweater I knit — first of my 12 sweater goals for this year.
Topped it off with a classic Carhartt jacket.
Since I am back in camp– a campfire is on my mind!! Too bad the rain is falling — tomorrow, maybe!!
Got these great firestarter sticks that work like a charm. HERE for more…
Check out my knitting page… and pick up some free patterns and fun information!

day 56 of #tracywearswool: song sung blue
Song sung blue, everybody knows one. But when you take the blues and make a song, you sing them out again. Song is a wonderful healer. And I thing that everyone is born with the ability to sing. But sometimes it happens, that someone tells us we aren't any good, or...
day 55 of #tracywearswool: touch of gray
Every silver lining's got a touch of gray. But, really, that is what keeps it real. It's not all black and white these days... but more mixed up ... much more grayscale. Dare I say... shades of gray? Ok... maybe mixing it up a little too much. The important thing...
