Hit me with your best shot… right in the left arm. And then “hit” Number 1. Because both of us rolled up our sleeves for the covid vaccine today.
And… It was pretty painless. Glad that is out of the way. Next dose in about two weeks.
For those of you just joining…I am involved in a 100-Day Challenge, put on by Wool& — Same dress. 100 days. Part of my reasons for deciding to do this was to simplify my life, especially with my residential choice.
What’s in store this week:
I’ll be here in Portland on for a few more days, before heading back to the coast. I practiced my drum… one of my daily goals for the month. And today is February 1st, which is the beginning of Figuary — where you draw figures for every day of the month.
I start the Appalachian Flatfooting and Clogging class today, as well — the first module was released online… and then we get together over zoom on Saturday. Super excited about that one. I got some new vintage shoes, with leather soles on Etsy. They are a bit big, but nice thick soles, and hand-stitched. Should make nice crisp taps!
Here’s what I came up with for today!
The Details:
This Gap coat was a perfect find after I accidentally scooped my olive canvas coat into the donation bag when I was purging! ( and 75% off!)
Woolamina, covered with an Old Navy clack chambray buttondown, and my favorite little scarf.
Boots are my go to by Hunter!
It was the perfect out for running around in the rain, getting things done!! Hit me with your best shot, baby!
Here is the yarn after I dyed it, and before I knit it into the scarf!! I need to do more of that. It was so much fun.
Friend me if you are on RAVELRY – HERE!

day 56 of #tracywearswool: song sung blue
Song sung blue, everybody knows one. But when you take the blues and make a song, you sing them out again. Song is a wonderful healer. And I thing that everyone is born with the ability to sing. But sometimes it happens, that someone tells us we aren't any good, or...
day 55 of #tracywearswool: touch of gray
Every silver lining's got a touch of gray. But, really, that is what keeps it real. It's not all black and white these days... but more mixed up ... much more grayscale. Dare I say... shades of gray? Ok... maybe mixing it up a little too much. The important thing...
